Has anyone realized that it’s already the 21st of April… of the year 2006? I was talking to my coworkers who were 30+ and they were nice enough to inform me that I am no longer a fresh college graduate. This, I believe, was their subtle hint that there are fundamental problems with my patterns of sleeping late and waking up late. Of course there are many interpretations of the word “late”, but the Lockheed Martin definition of late is usually 3-4 hours ahead of anybody else’s definition. Getting in at 8AM? You slacker!
To think of myself as anything but a fresh college grad is a strange change of mind set. No longer am I the bright eyed, eager, enthusiastic young lad ready to take on the world and to create a name for myself. I am now a tired, beat down, cynical cubicle occupant that tries to formulate the equation that will allow me to receive pay checks, week after week, in return for the least amount of work possible to the company.
Added to this fact, is that I have worked somewhere around the ballpark range of 600 days throughout the past 2 1/2 years. It really boggles the mind how the time has past so quickly. Day after day, after day, after day, time just passes by.
So what’s next?
